Visits to Our Website
This website ospreynokomisflorida.com is like millions of other websites using Google Analytics to gather information about site visitors and their behavior. We use Google Analytics to get an idea for:

Online Event Registration
To better plan for our events, we ask you to RSVP online. By doing so you are providing us with any information entered as well as the IP through which you placed the registration.
Chamber Membership
The information we collect from the application form consists of all the information you enter and your IP address. We use the submitted information to process your application, create your invoice and your account.
To protect this website from spam, your data will be processed in the CleanTalk Cloud Service and they will be stored in log files for 7 days. CleanTalk excludes the password field. On the expiry of the mentioned period, they will be completely deleted. CleanTalk may use spam activity information of IP/email addresses to offer proper anti-spam protection to all websites connected to its service. It concerns exclusively those IP/email addresses that are being used for spam mailing.
Active members are listed publicly on our website. Members have the option to log in to the website and manage the information that is publicly visible as well as update information that is used for administration purposes. The membership information is preserved, even beyond the membership expiration date, until manually deleted. This allows us to follow up with past members, more easily restore suspended listings, etc.

Online Payments
We accept online payments for invoices (e.g. membership sign-ups & renewals) and event registrations. Payments are processed by Heartland. Additional personal information like your name, billing address address and IP address are transmitted to Heartland so they can charge your card as well as help to prevent fraud. Other 3rd Party Providers that Store and Process Your Data
- Our website is hosted through SiteGround. SiteGround holds a server log of all website visits to help with security and diagnostics. The server log contains the visitor’s IP address but no information like name, phone number or email address.
- An automated backup of our website is stored on Google Drive.
