Osprey Nokomis Chamber Board of Directors
The Chamber Board of Directors includes a host of talented individuals:
Jim Jester, President
Jim Jester is an Agent and Manager of Wichert Insurance Services of Florida, LLC in Sarasota, Florida, a full service personal and business lines writer.
Jim has been an agent since 1968 and was Agency Principal and President of Jester Agency for forty-four years in Ohio.
Bryan Guentner, Past President & Founding Member
Bryan helped to found the Osprey Nokomis Chamber in 2012, the last of the “Original 5” to serve on the Board.
He is the broker/owner of RE/MAX Platinum Realty along with his wife, Cheri. They have five locations.
He has been licensed in real estate in Florida since 1986. He has served as a Director and President of Siesta Key Chamber and Director of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and My Florida MLS.
Karen Gerner, Vice President
Karen Gerner is an independent Health, Life and Annuity Broker. Her specialties are Medicare, Retirement saving/income and Group (employer) Benefits.
When not working, she enjoys kayaking, drumming and anything outdoors, and helping to plan events for the Chamber.
Tracey Viviano, Secretary
Tracey is the volunteer coordinator at Historic Spanish Point in Osprey.
A busy lady with a huge heart, Tracey is also involved with Boy Scout Troup 77 and the Venice Challenger Baseball Organization as well as numerous other community endeavors.
William F. Mannion, Jr. (a.k.a. Bix), Treasurer
Bix is a Manager with Trustco Bank’s Osprey office focusing on mortgage origination.
He enjoyed a 20 year career managing a mortgage company for a small bank outside of Philadelphia. He has a 14-year-old daughter, Grace, and enjoys portrait painting and outdoor sports.
Paula Salgado is the Director of Sales for Home2 Suites by Hilton in Nokomis, working with groups and business travelers.
She spent over thirty years in newspaper and mult-media advertising and sales management prior to coming on board with Lodgco Hospitality, the hotel’s management company. “What a beautiful place to work and play ~ I love Nokomis.”
William E. Rich, III
Financial Advisor for the InCompass Group
I am a Florida native and graduate of the University of South Florida. I am a Registered Investment Advisor and hold my insurance license for life, health and annuities. I am currently securities and insurance licensed in Florida and California.
Dennis Bragg is Co-Owner of Live Well Global with Partner Barb Schust, dedicated to Health-Wellness-Prosperity.
They moved from Michigan in 2002 to enjoy a lifestyle of Fun-Freedom-Friends on the Gulf Coast.
Dennis serves on the ONCC Board as well as Angels Thrift Board of Directors.
Jerry D. Thomas
Jerry Thomas is a Senior Manager and an independent associate of Legal Shield. He has been a resident of Florida since 2013, moving from Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Jerry is beginning his third year as a member of Osprey Nokomis Chamber and looks forward to serving the Chamber, its members and the community of Osprey and Nokomis.
Sandy Keith has lived in Sarasota County since 1984 and Osprey since 1994. Sandy is the Broker/Owner of Lighthouse Realty and a Florida Community Association Manager.
Sandy has served as Vice President of Human Resources, and is now Director of Public Relations for Lighthouse Property Management.
Tony Clements is the Park Manager of Oscar Scherer State Park in Osprey, Florida. Tony started his career in the park service as a volunteer at Oscar Scherer state Park in 1993 and worked his way up from the ground floor.
He also lived in Edmonds, Washington for 6 years where he worked as a park ranger at Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland park.
Tony has a passion for the environment and takes pride in making your park a great place to connect with nature.
