The first of its kind in Sarasota County, the Osprey Public Library is a small facility located within the Visitors Center of Historic Spanish Point in Osprey, a quiet oasis of old Florida.
The Osprey Public Library also conveys that old Florida feeling — with friendly staff, a comfortable screened porch for Wi-Fi reading, and flexible collections to meet community interests.
Although small in size, the Osprey Public Library has a mighty mission: to provide convenient library services for people who live and work in Osprey and neighboring communities, and to provide a connection to the information and technology of the entire Sarasota County Library system.
